Hello everyone! I am having intermittent problems with Imail Server 8.03. I've installed all of the latest patches and upgrades on the server. I am running an NT4 server. I am having 2 problems. The first one, most recurring, is that out of the blue Imail just quits sending mail. It will continue to receive mail and place it in the spool directory, but it will not send out any mail. The current fix that I have been doing is to restart the queuemanager service. Unfortunately this seems to happen several times a week, so it is not an optimal solution.
The second problem that I am having is on occasion the webmail interface will quit working. It doesn't give me "page cannot be displayed" or a connection refused or anything else. It just stays on a blank screen and does nothing. The fix that I have found for this is to delete the temporary files in the spool/web directory. I am trying to find the right way to resolve these problems. If anyone knows of anything, please let me know. I think that it's possible that it may be an issue between NT4 and Imail 8.03. Possibly a file is getting locked or not released in time to perform the next call. Does anyone know of anything?
