While my imail server is not an 'open' relay, as a backup-mx it allows
relaying to an abitrary host when presented with an address in the form
<"[EMAIL PROTECTED]"@mydomain.com>.

Imail apparently cannot deal with this (?), and the "PERCENT" test in
declude is not catching it either.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

There is a new interim release of Declude JunkMail available (1.76i17) that will catch this. If you need the URL for it (it's the same URL as for previous 1.76iX interim releases), please E-mail me off-list.
