I would agree I have client that uses Verizon and there mail server are unavailable 10% of the time.

We have a domain mail user that has verizon for his ISP and forwards all email from our systems to his generic @verizon email;  Our expereince is that Verizon's email servers are problematic at least 10% of the time;  we receive alot of undeliverables for his forwarding just like you see there...(dispite this our user doesn't want to POP into his accts here - go figure) 
 
 
That may be...I use verizon for my personal email and I agree, they do have a lot of problems, but I don't understand why Scott's DNS mail tool isn't having a problem and I am.  It looks like someone else on this list is having verizon problems too. I would love to be able to chalk it up to "them", if someone could just explain why Scotts tool is working but I can't telnet to their servers.
