Ive found a nice little solution for the in-house blacklist
project.
rbldnsd is a very small and fast DNS daemon which is
especially made to serve DNSBL zones.
Took only 5 minutes to setup and have fully functional.

I hope this helps anyone else who may be thinking about
doing the same
I've thought about maintaining a dns blacklist in house to
help control some of the spam issues. Can this be done with any dns server (
bind ) or are there some apps already made to take care of this.
