Usage
Windows Server 2003, Web Edition, can be used solely to deploy Web pages,
Web sites, Web applications, and Web services. Customers can use Windows
Server 2003, Web Edition, to install the following:

Web server software; for example, IIS.
Web availability management software; for example, Microsoft Application
Center.
Installations of non-Web serving applications are prohibited. ASP.NET-based
applications that include code written in third-party programming languages
can include that programming language's runtime components. For non-Web
serving applications, you should consider Windows Server 2003, Standard
Edition

First of all, at the risk of starting a flame war again, you are breaking
the EULA for running Imail on Windows Server 2003 Web Edition.

2nd, Imail's web messaging uses proprietary configuration and files. That
may be a big part of the problem.

Help

Don't know if anyone can help here but I'll ask anyway.

I am running windows server 2003 web edition with FrontPage 2002 server
extensions installed and configured. We are also using IMail 8.02.

MS POP3 and SMTP services are stopped.

The problem is that some of our sites can see and use Imail's SMTP server
(localhost) and some can not even though they are setup exactly the same in
SharePoint's - Change Configuration Settings screen. As a result the sites
email forms that do no work get the following error message after clicking
submit:

FrontPage Error.
User: please report details to this site's webmaster.
Webmaster: please see the server's application event log for more details.

Note: There are no error logs in the App Log or Imail's logs.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
