Additionally, I dumped the entire URL DBL
list into the Phrase list to catch spam that was not html but had links to
the spammer sites. This alone has doubled our phrase filter
hits.
So far, all plain text emails have had a
url or ip addr or phone # I can block. I do this daily for my
personal spam, which is substantial(I posted to a newsgroup with my work email
address three years ago before I knew better--hangs head in
shame).
