I have heard enough on the list not to want to use the monitor service
to monitor and restart the Imail services if fall over.

Until I can get proper service monitoring sorted out with my hosting
company, however, I don't want to be left in the position of the SMTP
service failing at midnight and being not being restarted till I get in
the morning or even worse all weekend. So has any body had any
experience using the restart mechanisms built into win2k to restart a
service when it falls over.

It seems to do exactly the same thing as the monitor service but at a
lower level. Anyone have any comments?

Pat Hastings
