Its a very neat clean solution that require no changes to DNS or network topology in most case. It's been good about fast updates to defs, we had our W32.Bagle update Sunday night, and it doesn't let anything through as far as virus go.
Inside we have a NAV SMTP Gateway. Which really just acts as a gateway since we have not had anything get past the EdgeForce.

Best bet is to go with a dedicated solution. SAVCE will catch virus infected emails, but not all of them. I'm using Declude Virus on my server right now with McAfee AV 8.0. Works like a champ and wasn't that expensive considering the job it does. I still have SAVCE on the server but it does not scan the Imail Spool directory.
It might cost a few bucks now but it'll save you grief in the future, as SAVCE will not stop all the emails, and Imail's solution is VERY expensive in comparison to Declude with McAfee (or any other virus scanner with a command line option, which SAVCE does not have).

We have Symantec Anti-Virus Corporate Edition on our network, and I was wondering if there's a way to allow it to work with Imail instead of purchasing the Anti-Virus add-on (that would essentially cost us what we already paid for the corporate licensing, doubling our total cost for anti-virus).
