Hello, I have been reading the manual and tech archives and have a question.
I have two servers named mail.smgazette.com and smtp.smgazette.com. What I would like to do is set up the smtp.smgazette.com server as a backup server. What I am looking for smtp. to do is just accept the email and then forward the email on to mail. when it is back online. But I have read in the tech section... 1) Remove ALL references from the IMail Virtual Hosts Configuration screens to company2.com. In other words, the text 'company2.com' should NOT be listed in any of the Official Hostname fields or the Aliases fields. Will I be able to do this within the same domain (smgazette.com) as long as both servers have different default host domains (mail. & smtp.)? Before I really goober something up, I wanted to see if this can be done.
