Most MPLS that I'm aware of is mainly in the backbone, or core network of the provider. The access is still ATM, FR, IP (low speeds and POS).
If your looking for high speed, does your local providers not offer this? If you looking at low speed, aren't MPLS interfaces around the same or more expensive than ATM or FR?

MPLS....what is that? The only thing that comes to my mind is
Realestate listings using the Multiple Listings service that Agents use
to find houses for customers.. I only know this because both of my
parents were agents years ago.....
