Title: Non bouncing email to non users
On the mail host properties General tab, do you have the sub-mailbox creation set to 'bounce'?

Subject: [IMail Forum] Non bouncing email to non users

Hi,

Apparantly I have missed something really simple here.

When my mail server receives an email to someone who is no longer a user, or never was a user, instead of bouncing the email, it's been processed.

It was brought to my attention that a "Nobody" alias would cause this behavior.

I have checked in the Alias folder for "Nobody" (starting to sound like a bad Abbot and Costello routine) but can't find anything that resembles a "Nobody" alias.

This really hasnt been a concern until now, when I am being hit really hard with this MyDoom virus, which is sending email to [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED], etc. and these emails  to non users are being processed, scanned, quarrantined, etc.

Suggestions? I am sure this is that ID 10 T error on my part.

Sharyn
