Yes, it's a known problem with the SMTP fixup in some Cisco boxen (mostly PIX, but some of their other routers do it too if you enable protocol inspection). If I recall correctly (and it's been a couple of years since we had a PIX here), "no fixup protocol smtp 25" in config mode should make things better.
