I'm assuming that he is forwarding the mail from IMAIL to yahoo.  Just have him change the forward to NOT include the period and the comma in front of his yahoo address".,[EMAIL PROTECTED]" becomes [EMAIL PROTECTED] .  The period and comma indicate for IMAIL to leave a copy of the message on the server so when he checks it with another client or the web interface the mail will still be there.  This is right in the help file when looking at the forwarding options in the IMAIL admin screen.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Delete mail via a Yahoo account

Hello,
I've searched the Knowledge base and do not see any articles pertaining to the following condition:
I have a new client that uses Yahoo to gather email from several locations. With his iMail account he is able to download the mail without incident but when he returns to his local email client all the email is still on the server and downloads once more. He's told me his setting in Yahoo are set delete after download.

Before I go and create my own Yahoo account has anyone encounter similar problems and know if there is a resolution?

Regards,
