Given that you have apparently laid eyes on Declude Virus and Declude
Junkmail in the flesh, it's kind of absurd for you to claim that they
are separate products in the sense that, say, Windows and SQL are
separate products. Every Declude user knows that each "product" is an
enabled feature of a single executable. The idea of making Declude
fully modular has been bandied about, but because of its
process-per-message milter architecture there are good reasons to
believe that this could slow performance. The Declude team must use an
irregular development process which necessarily leads to an
irregular--but to everyone _else's_ mind mostly inoffensive--licensing
and maintenance plan.
