Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Hotmail having problem?

If this is a universal problem it should have been many reports by now.
I did try to send to hotmail from another server and that worked.
We are not listed in any RBL.
They must have blocked us for some unknown reason.
Does anyone have a good contact phone number or email address?

Last time this happened, it continued until Saturay morning when a Level 3 router went down in San Jose.  When it came back up, everything worked fine.  Where's the traceroute die at on the IP's from your end?

Well, I have 1700 messages that has not been sent yet.
If I try to telnet to port 25 on the IP's listed below from my home account I get no response, and I can not ping them.

I am not certain what the problem is at this time since I would expect more people see the same as I have if it is a hotmail problem.

At this time I am very uncertain what the cause is and I would appreciate if others are seeing the same they would let me know.

H.

Yep, same as about a week ago.  Most of the mail makes it through first time, just some (right now 4 out of 302 today) haven't made it.  The only thing all four of these messages have is they are bcc'd to at least 10 HM or MSN customers each, and they are stuck on one address.  While these sit in the queue, others are delivered immediately.  Wish I knew why they are being rejected.  NIC is new 3com server NIC.

We’ve been having issues with various email servers today as well.  Even dnsstuff.com was not available for a while.
