Hi Guys , New to this list so im more than likely asking the clearly obvious.
I help admin a Hosting company that also provides mail using IMAIL. I want to be able to do the following. 1) Connection Tarring, To slow Dictionary attacks and mail bombs 2) Throttle SMTP/POP3 IN/OUT to various speeds to control flow of traffic in & outbound to each service. I see that there are 3rd party programs out there for IMAIL that run as a separate device in front of the IMAIL server, But im more interested in a solution based on the server. I guess im asking for Mdaemon level connection handling. Any economical help appreciated :) Sorry if this has been asked recently, did not see reference in the Archives.
