Eric, When you say the file is corrupted, do you mean the root-bulk.mbx or the actual email failing delivery? If it is root-bulk, then can you tell me how to start clean? It must be corrupted.
The failed files never reach root-bulk. In fact, it looks like the messages are accumulating in root-bulk, but can not be browsed. This began happening about 2 weeks ago and is fairly regular as a couple days ago.
