Hi everyone,
We are running IMail 8.11 on our mail server, and have very few problems with it. We have a Disaster Recover Mail Server literally sitting right below the Mail Server in the server rack. We have an exact copy of the software installed, and also back up various config files and registry keys to it automatically each night. When Ipswitch release product updates, I always install them on the DR server first….test if for a day or two. And if the services are all still running…I can send and receive mail using it…..then, and only then, do I put it into live Production.
Does anyone else do this? Or do most people just see an update from Ipswitch and, like we all do with Microsoft Updates, just assume they will be fine and go ahead and install them?
