By the way – my fix for the problem was to have the
user disable Junk Mail in Outlook 2003. Travis -----Original Message----- Hi all, Last friday something very strange happened. A 2 GB
mbx-file " Junk E-mail.mbx " appeared in one of the users' folders on
the mailserver. The file didn't contain anything other than a 3 MB e-mail
according to the Imail Client. This caused our server to crash because
disc-space ran out, so I would like to investigate what happened here. Anyone any thoughts? Another strange file that occurred that day was the file
" PAB196904.tmp ", 80 MB large. Anyone know what that is? I have the spool folder, tmp-file and mbx-file available in
very small zips (somehow they compress very well! The 2 GB file compresses to
947 KB and the 80 MB file compresses to 211 KB). Regards, Nika. _______________________________________ Nika Gerson Lohman Senior Software Engineer Tele'Train Software BV, http://www.teletrain.nl Willemsparkweg 191 1071 HA Amsterdam Telefoon:
