Scott and Len wrote a lot of bla bla.... For us who use both IMgate and Declude it would be much better if you 2 gouys could coorporate and make a solution with did the best of both products. Yes I know I want a lot more than i can get here.
But the fact is that Imail with declude together killed our servers because of a huge amount of mails coming through to us. It was not Imail or declude doing this by them self but a number of things that together did it. So more hardware, better hardware, new version of Imail and so on nothin absolutelu nothing helped. Everybody said its not us its the other one. So what I did was to put Imgate in front an backend with Imail between and this is actually the solution which helped. Going from 600k of mails per month on the fornt to 4,5 million mails in the front per month enn less than 7 months was a bad experience. But now the only thing I do is trimming and blocking around 1.5 million mails on my front and I could if i wished to block a lot more. What I would like to see and I am sure there are other than me here who says the same thing. Declude and Imgate in togethernes on the frontend server would be heaven. A lot of the load done on Imail servers could be used to much better things So my conclusion here is that instead of fighting user your excellent skills to do som extremely good.
