I need some serious help!!!

It seems that my Imail Server has been used by spammers and I can't seem to shut their processing down.

Quemanager.exe has a CPU time of 11:53:23 using up 97% of the CPU and when open the Imail Client the status bar message states that it is processing over 30,000 emails and I can't delete any of them. May incoming email is sparatic and I am not getting certain messages until days later.

This has been going on for days? Ouch!

You need to first stop them -- kill the SMTP service (and queue manager, if IMail v8).

Next, you need to identify how they are sending the mail. The good news is that they are using IMail to send it (as opposed to having hacked in), so it will be relatively easy to find them and stop them. If you use web messaging, check those log files to see if that is how they are sending the mail. If not, they will appear in the SMTPD entries in the IMail SMTP log file. Check your relay settings (only "No Mail Relay" or "Relay for Addresses" are acceptable; anything else is allowing the spammer to spam).

You'll also want to move the \IMail\spool\ T*, Q*, _*, D* files to a temporary directory, so they won't be delivered. Later, you can sort through them, and allow any good ones to be delivered.
