I've set the EDNS 0 setting by running the dnscmd on my win2003 servers but it doesn't seem to solve the problem. Neither does temporarily disabling my firewall. I can do an nslookup from the command prompt for servers such as ybl.megacity.org and it resolves ok. Before I did the EDNS 0 setting, the MS DNS server event log was giving error messages about 'bad TCP-based requests' but is no longer doing so. Even so. The system can't connect. Do you think upgrading to 8.12 would help?
