I totally did use incorrect terminology... falsely using "bounce" for what should be "reject" which are obviously two different things. We definitely do NOT intentionally BOUNCE spam; we reject messages destined for non-existing accounts, without ever receiving the messages.
In this case, we were inadvertently bouncing the spam because of the GD nobody alias pointing to a non-existing account. I need a way to disable nobody aliases, to prevent them from even being created! Scott and I came to the same answer at the same time -- I had just finished mapping it out here when I read his message. It was a convoluted message path, to be sure, but not indescribable.
