I don't blame Len for this behavior...
Neither does Len. Every time ANYBODY tells me what I can and cannot post in this forum, they're gonna get my response.
I made simple technical post, pointing out 2 problems. Here we see Scott advising me, as is his reflexive, ideological habit, about DNS and what I should/not post here. Stupid gotcha games. He got his response. And then he admits his own ignorance, as "DNS expert", that he doesn't know WTF I'm talking about. I can hardly make a post to this list anymore, and I was on it years before Scott was, without Scott playing gotcha games, qualifying, calling me a liar, contradicting me, second guessing, puerile one one-up-manship, etc, etc.
Everybody else use the delete key.
He has been doing this for the 3+ years that I have been on this list.
Yes, the Scott BS has been going on for years.
I have tried to inform Len about how his attitude gets in the way of his intelligence
your condescension reeks. shove it.
but he never seems to listen to anyone on this list about his arrogance.
Scott's "thing" about me is egregious. scan the archives, open your eyes.
I have come to the conclusion that Len lacks the ability to admit that anyone may know more than he does about...anything!
Nobody should be telling anybody what to post anywhere. Scott was advising me not to post public DNS info as if it were some kind of secret, as if it were a security vulnerability. He totally missed my point, ie, as in didn't understand anything, about unrestricted zone transfers being a security vulnerability. But he saw a post from Len, and fulfilled his compulsion to respond to anything I post here.
Its really a pity because Len does have a lot of good information for a list like this.
It's a pity that you have nothing to add on this days-dead topic but I will not advise you not to say it.
Len
