Hi, I have a customer attempting to send email to various users on a domain,
but my Imail servers cannot resolve the address. The customer reported this
problem a couple months ago and I referred them to www.dnsreports.com which
showed that their dns servers were not set up correctly. Well the issue is
still unresolved and the customer now says that the recipient's admin claims
the problem is on our end. I need enough ammunition to go to this other
admin and show him that it really IS his problem (or if it is my problem, of
course, I need to fix it).

So here is a call to the various DNS guru's on the list to show me what the
problem is, and whether it is my end or theirs. Here are the relevant
details:

http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=yanceycounty.org shows
problems with the yanceycounty.org domain's DNS, and
http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=e911.yanceycounty.org
also shows (I believe) that there is no name server delegation for the e911
subdomain (I'm not sure of the terminology). What I believe is happening is
that, because there is no "glue" at the tld name servers for the e911
subdomain, Imail is traversing the FQDN to try and find name servers for the
e911 subdomain. This name server delegation does not exist. Am I correct?
