Yes.. Exactly.. Hmm.. Maybe a user/file permission of the dll's? Not sure if I remember correctly .. Been a few years.. But does the event handler return an lp of zero "0" or something for a successful connect. Maybe you could trap a more definitive error description from the error event handler .. If there is one.
