Records should be fine. We did about 1.8 million emails in the last couple of months with no problems. This just started a few hours ago.
The log only reports "mx error"
... extremely useful logging. :))
I've seen other people and I myself have experienced some temporary DNS failures in the past couple weeks.
I tried www.google.com, "host not found" about 5 times in a couple of minutes, then it was found just fine. and with several other hostnames I use hourly.
