I have brought to your attention in a very public forum, the fact that you have incorrect/misleading information on your website related to mxGuard. ... I've also asked that you remove or correct it. ... I've provided you with the facts (i.e. which so-called vulnerability we 'fail') since you do not actually personally verify what you post. You now say the data will stay as-is.
I still see no incorrect information, which is why I said the data will stay as-is. We say you don't detect certain vulnerabilities, you agreed that you do not.
Where is your integrity?
When the information was originally placed on the website, it *did* contain inaccurate information, and (without being asked) I pointed that out to the person that put it online, and it was fixed. That is the integrity. I saw incorrect information, and took action to make sure that it was corrected.
However, I do not see that there is any information that needs to be changed at this point.
Remove or correct the misleading mxGuard stats. This is my final request. It is well documented that you have received it at this point.
The point of that web page is to show that we treat vulnerabilities more seriously than any other AV company (which I believe is 100% accurate). You implied that you do not think mailserver vulnerabilities are a serious issue (which is an acceptable point of view -- one I disagree with, but acceptable), by saying that you do not feel that they need to be detected. Again, your point of view is fine -- but that doesn't mean that your program is detecting those vulnerabilities. You admitted that it is not, by design.
In a similar way, if you say that Declude Virus is more expensive than mxGuard, I can't say "That is inaccurate" and then give reasons why Declude Virus is more expensive. Declude Virus being more expensive is a fact, the reasons for it being more expensive are subjective. In the same way, mxGuard not detecting those vulnerabilities is a fact, the reasons for it not detecting them are subjective. Even if everyone in the world agreed that mailserver virus scanners shouldn't detect vulnerabilities, that doesn't change whether or not your program detects them.
Again, if there is incorrect information, please let me know about it.
