_Data_  (mailboxes) is synchronized by your clustering software (MSCS,
NSI,  whatever).  It  wouldn't  be clustering software if id didn't do
this!

The   "special"   configuration  would  largely  consist  of  Registry
replication.  MSCS is better at this than third-party products, but if
you  store  your  userbase in SQL or AD (or have very little change in
your  userbase),  you  have  much  less Registry data that needs to be
replicated  (domain  settings,  aliases, and lists), and this could be
done in periodic batches.
