I agree, we just had this issue where the Queue Manager had stopped and we
did not know it as emails internally and everything were working fine.  Was
not until a client outside our system asked about my responses that we found
we had over 1000 messages sitting in the queue with MX Connection failures.
Restarting the queue Manager and SMTP seems to of fixed this issue.

Guess we just have to watch the logs until IPSwitch gets this issue
resolved.  Wish we would of just stayed with Imail 7.15, it was very stable.

All ready been that route, all they recommended was to delete the file and
the problem will be solve.
The corrupted files are regular e-mail that for some reason can not be
deliver. It's seem that this is a problem for a lot of people.

them the files that are causing the delays.

I assume you mean Queue Manager.  There are a couple of well-known problems
related to this, depending on what version and patch level of IMail you're
on....most likely you'll need to disclose that info for additional help,
though.

 Does any body knows why the manager backs up every time it encounter a
bad file. On my system, a bad file will cause a 2 hour delay or more.
The only fix at the time is to delete the bad file. I been having to do
this every week, even sooner sometimes. If any body has any suggestions
as how to cope with this problem, other that going with a different mail
server. let me know. Currently we have 10,000 users with 156 Virtual
Domain.
  Hardware setup
      Compaq 380 Dual PIII 1000
      Natapp F7-60
      Gig connection between the two.
