Yes and no, $199 is the full retail price for the SmarterMail unlimited
version full product from a reseller, and it has some features that are not
available in IMail. So if the $199 was for upgrades only, that wouldn't be
so bad and we can get support from each other assuming we can still send and
receive email :-)

$495 for updates and phone support was marginal, but realistic. Better yet I
think would be to pay per incident and $199 for core only upgrades available
only by download.

I still have my SA for another several months, if I see something really
cool in the way of upgrades or a better pricing plan I may stay on board
with Imail for a while longer. In the meantime I think I will buy
SmarterMail, and some of their sister products to create a stand alone
control panel type server. Then if things are not better here by renewal
time, I will have a path already setup and understood that I can bail on.
Otherwise I will not need to move all of our clients and deal with any
issues that may generate. Paying $199 for what sounds like an awesome email
server is something I can afford to play with.

In support of Ipswitch, $199 for an SA for unlimited domains is unreasonably
low.

I might be willing to re-up at a reasonable price, say $199/year for
unlimited domains, but at the $700 price point, I'll muddle through on my
own and using the excellent resources of your email forum.

I've enjoyed your product all these years (well, there was that one missing
Release Notes issue that caused me to spam 17K customers), but mostly, it's
been a smooth ride. I'm sorry to see you choosing to move on, but best of
luck to you and your team.

        Good Afternoon Dan -

I noticed that you have yet to renew your service agreement for
IMail.

I wanted to make sure that my customers were aware that as of
December 1, Service Agreement prices will increase to $695 (from $495) for
IMail Professional and to $375 (from $249) for IMail Small Business.

If you wish to renew your current service agreement and would like a
formal quote, please let me know or contact your preferred reseller.
