Michael,
You purchased a 1 year agreement and they broke it. Not only that, in practicality they have forced you to have to implement a costly change in your system requiring the purchase of software and lots of labor. If Ipswitch refuses to refund your money, contact your credit card company and have them get your money back. Your credit card company should have no issues honoring the request.
Be forceful, don't let this company take advantage of you.

About 45 days before Ipswitch's announcement, I purchased the $495 SA for IMail Professional. I have not installed it yet, because I was working on getting the server put together. Now, based on all that has gone on, I feel that I need to switch to something more affordable. I only host about 18 domains, with most having just one or two e-mail accounts, and the largest having nearly 50.
I know that I cannot return it to IPswitch, because I bought it more than 30 days prior to their announcement.
But, since I have not broken the seal on the CD or installed it or anything, am I allowed to sell this to someone else?
And, if the answer is "yes" to this, how could I go about selling this to someone else? eBay would bring just pennies on the dollar.
Any help, advice or suggestions, would be greatly appreciated.
