IMails list server is very simplistic. If you are looking for the features in one of the mentioned servers then you should use one of them.

You can not avoid the duplicate emails. Except by haveing unique lists where no user in multiple lists. Especially when doing lists being members of other lists.

We have around 20 dist lists that are used only for mass distribution and not for discussions.  They all contain local addresses such as all users, all branch managers, all sales reps, etc.  There are a few of them that can contain another list inside mainly for admin issues and in some cases, there are a few users that end up in more than one list.

 

How can I avoid duplicate deliveries of the same message to those users that end up being in those "lists inside lists"?  Some one here said is not possible at all.  Can other servers do it? Exchange?
