I'm in-country now and checked in on this. Seems that the upload came from an 
NRCS volunteer who received OSM training from another group that we work with 
here in Kathmandu. Our NRCS GIS staffer is going to call the Khotang focal 
person to explain the problem and talk through why it's inappropriate to 
include that sort of information in OSM. She'll also ask them to remove the 
sensitive information.

I'll be back in Kathmandu in a week or so and can follow-up on this.

Anything new about this import and a possible revert ?
"privacy" is not limited to a familly name and/or phone number. Those
data are obvioulsy coming from a census and have not been anonymized
enough by the publishers. It's not a reason to broadcast the mistake
and archive the private data in OSM.
