Christoph, your arguments corresponds to saying that only West-Europe-OSM map 
should be reflected, and others have to adapt to your reality.

 Let's again present the northern territory  in Québec province. Population of 
35,000 in isolated villages and a surface of 1,027,000 km². This corresponds to 
UK + France + Germany.  Talking of local communities and ground mapping, are we 
saying that in such territories, the communities, the touristic and mining 
activities, hydro-electric facilities should be mapped as isolated islands in 
the middle of a blank map? If I understand you, you are satisfied of that and 
want to impose this vision to the large OSM community ?
