If you get a virus on Windows, depending on the type of virus the data on the Windows portion will get infected and do what ever damage it will do. The files on the Mac will be safe since they won't be accessible by the Windows OS. > So far I am not using any antivirus with my MACs. I haven't used one either since 2006.
