If you see carefully, any new folder that you’ve created is already accessible (no red sign). Only the ones that are created by the system are inaccessible. Just see the info on one of them because it will probably be the same for all. It does not matter if you are the admin or not. I meant see the info and change permissions from the iMac which is where the folders are. Even a non-admin user can change permissions for his own files.
