I guess I disagree. Remember the browser war in the 90s? Internet Explorer had an edge because it was available by default on all Windows desktops. Netscape could just not beat that. If you package Gnome with Indiana, the vast majority will just go with it, IMHO. I personally could not care about which window manager gets in as default. But since this is supposed to be a community distro, how about a vote?
