What I would like Indiana to have: 1. Better Sun Volume Manager acsii gui if not normal X gui. It will be pathetic to see command line based SVM for desktops. Also the formatting of the ouput sucks compared to vxprint or vxdisk list.
2. Better update and product/software installation control. i.e. pkg-get integrated into the OS well enough to be able to see the new/sunfree software from pkginfo. Or at least get a package manager similar to apt-get/pkg-get/yum. 3. Good number of sources of patches to install from. I hate that Sun update that they have now. It is easier to download the patch cluster and install them. 4. If a LiveCD function is included on that CD/DVD, the better, so one can know if all the hardware on the system will be recognised. -GGR On 8/1/07, Anil Gulecha <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > On 8/1/07, Ivan S Kirkpatrick <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I look forward to this quite a bit.
