I have spent some time investigating what might be appropriate for Slim
Install, aka OpenSolaris Live CD. My strawman proposal is to have the
following:

1. A fully functioning GNOME desktop
2. Firefox
3. Thunderbird
4. GNU/Linux friendly utilities (bits that are currently delivered under
/usr/gnu
5. Plugins for flash and realplayer
6. New Solaris Installer
7. Support for the new network repository model.
8. JRE ??

Are there other items that need to added or dropped ?

At some point (not necessarily the first release), I'd like to see the Indiana Live
CD make accessible. For that to happen you will need to add:

Orca       http://live.gnome.org/Orca
eSpeak     http://espeak.sourceforge.net/
BrlTTY     http://mielke.cc/brltty/
liblouis   http://www.jjb-software.com/liblouis-guide.html

Thanks.
