Rich, you have it somewhat backwards, actually, from my point of view. The project to create the "single Live CD install experience" is part of the Installation and Packaging community's Caiman / New OpenSolaris Installer project, which has been in the works for 18 months now. We're calling this component Slim Install (see below for link to the overall roadmap). caiman-discuss is where it does its business, so if you want to participate in it in some fashion, that's where you'll probably get the best results. The fact that Indiana plans to use this project is somewhat orthogonal, other than the extent to which it provides requirements or dates for a release vehicle which we work towards delivering. Many of us pay attention to indiana-discuss as well, but in general you should expect that the Installation projects will mostly just post milestone announcements and such here as FYI's.
