For xscreensaver, there's currently branding in both the unlock
dialog box (currently the Solaris logo, hardcoded into the binary,
which is the one thing stopping us from declaring the xscreensaver
packages ready to go for Indiana redistribution), and in some of
the screensaver "hack" modules - some of it more subtle than others:

 - hacks that manipulate images pull the default image set from
/usr/share/pixmaps/backgrounds, where at least in the Solaris
builds you've got good odds of getting an image with a Sun,
   Solaris or Java logo

 - Sun's branding colors used in several hacks [2]

 - hacks that can pull from RSS feeds default to blogs.sun.com
(though feed reading is off by default) [3]

 - the default image for the flame hack (currently we override
the "Bob Dobbs" head with the GNOME foot logo) [3]

 - as long as I had to clean out various naughty-sounding and
trademark-ish words out of the barcode hack random word list,
I threw in, among other random words, a variety of already-public
Sun code names and OpenSolaris project & website names and
random Nevada town names (which given the names chosen for many
Solaris Nevada projects already may end up as project names in
   the future) [4]

 - the default "date" mode in various text manipulating hacks includes
"head -1 /etc/release", so you'll see words like "Solaris Nevada"
   appear on screen [5]

[5] Since this was accepted upstream, you won't see it in our source patches,
but can see it in /usr/X11/lib/xscreensaver/bin/xscreensaver-text

If Indiana has branding colors, images, logos, etc., we can easily
substitute those in, and change the default RSS feed to something
like planet.opensolaris.org.
