One topic that I wanted to add to the branding discussion is "How do we switch between different branding themes?" This topic has been brought up as a very desirable feature in the caiman-discuss alias regarding custom branding for distributions that are created by the Distribution Constructor. At this time, I don't know how many of the items mentioned above can be changed via public interfaces. Ideally, there will be an intuitive tool for people to define what graphic/text they want to use in all the items mentioned above. Then, these preferences can be applied to the different components. --Karen > When? > ===== > With a preview release in Fall this year, it would be good at the very least > to > map out the various locations that we definitely want to brand, though the > content will likely be very different (think 'Alpha' rather than a final > product).
