If I understood right, it means all direct contributions will have to made to Indiana rather than SXCE ? Am I getting this right ? And if somebody wants to use the next Solaris builds, say: after Solaris 11 will be released, then that would not be possible anymore ? that would translate into "The next Solaris builds are Indiana based ?" or ... !? Can somebody please clear-up this thing and write a clear statement in some FAQ on www.opensolaris.org that users can understand and digest easily this food :) ? I am getting direct questions about: - Relation: Solaris - SXCE - Indiana ? - What is the next version of Solaris: SXCE or Indiana based ? - Where are people suppose to contribute ? Indiana or SXCE ? Both ? - What is the process of contributing code, documentation which should arrive in Solaris now when we have Indiana ? - Is there a FAQ about all these names and nomenclature and their relations ? Looks to me some folks take very seriously these things, nomenclature as such. They often backout easily when they find unclear, confusing things. Very hard to attract them back. many thanks, stefan _______________________________________________ indiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/indiana-discuss
