Hi guys, Just got back from CommunityOne and JavaOne and I'm chomping at the bit to install OpenSolaris for real on a desktop....
1) I installed in vmware and when I created a user, I didn't get an opportunity to choose a uid. I need to change this so I can hit all my corporate nfs mounts. I tried to su, then usermod, but I can't seem to do that under the account since it's in use. How can I do this? 2) Is there a way (for mere mortals) to configure the automounter to automount samba/cifs mounts like it does for nfs mounts? Thanks for any info...
