Hi!
OK. So my machine boots again... but "nvidia" driver still broken on
X11.
I want to replace it with the one from nvidia's site.
Unfortunately when I try to install it and it tries to remove the
Solaris one, I get a "Removal of <NVDAgraphics> failed (internal
error)."
Even if I manually try to pkgrm (as root) that package.
Well, the package wasn't installed with pkgadd, so... =O(
Remove it first with pkg? I'm not upgrading my Ultra20 until you've got
this sorted... ;O)
Ta,
It's sorted.
I had to "svcadm disable gdm" before removing the package and adding the
NVIDIA drivers... and then svcadm enable gdm again (bunch of error
messages - no gdm start) then reboot... I've no got full NVIDIA accel on
my M2 again. Cool!
Gilles.
