The extra entry in the grub menu is written by the update-grub call. That's the 
entry titled "Solaris 2008.11 snv_91 X86" and this will boot whatever BE is the 
active BE. That's because that entry has no bootfs line so it will boot 
whatever 
the root pool has it's bootfs property set to. The other entry allows you to 
boot that BE even if the root pool's bootfs property is set to another BE. This 
entry was created by pkg when opensolaris-1 was created for the image-update.
