Do you have any idea when this will happen ? Right now we try to get the upcoming ksh93-integration update1 done in two phases: 1. Phase one means to get the code out before B98 by "all means neccesary" to make sure we get a much more stable&&faster ksh93 in Indiana.next, including all the complex new features (which would be AFAIK difficult to do in an update since we add stuff like kernel modules (to enable the use of compiled shell scripts), the shell script compiler, replace some core stuff like /usr/bin/printf etc.). The good news is that we're done (expcept code review&&RTI), the bad is that we had to use several "crowbars" to get there... ;-( 2. Phase two comes after B101 and will simply "mop up" (and undo all the damage by the "crowbars"). AFAIK it may be nice to get any complex changes (like the move of libshell+dependicies to the root filesystem) done in this phase, too. ---- Bye, Roland -- __ . . __ (o.\ \/ /.o) [EMAIL PROTECTED] \__\/\/__/ MPEG specialist, C&&JAVA&&Sun&&Unix programmer /O /==\ O\ TEL <currently fluctuating> (;O/ \/ \O;) _______________________________________________ indiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/indiana-discuss
