1. The mountpoint that contains the GRUB menu.

  For example for UFS   /a
  For ZFS     /rpool

2. The slice that contains the root filesystem (either UFS or ZFS)
    for example  /dev/dsk/c1t0d0s0. Make sure this exists i.e. fstyp -a works 
on it.

I can't open /dev/rdsk/c6t0d0s0 (a USB flash stick), where B95 root filesystem 
(ZFS) is installed.  That's the core of the problem.

I believe the new version of ZFS (in B95), for some reason, does not yet allow 
booting from a USB stick.  I did not have problem with B93 and prior.
