The 177.80 driver at the NVIDIA download page does not have support for MSI, quiesce (fast reboot) or xVM dom0.
The 2008.11.05.10.16 driver is a test for MSI on GeForce 6150 based motherboards, which may or may not work. I haven't gotten any feedback on it yet so it is very unlikely to make it into build 103 as the deadline is tomorrow. This driver has no fixes for fast reboot other than what went into b101. > >> >> I suspect you are using "force_fastreboot = 1" ? > Yes, actually I have to 'reboot -f' The command 'reboot -f' merely requests a fast reboot. If one of the drivers doesn't support quiesce the request falls back to the regular reboot, unless the override "force_fastreboot = 1" is in /etc/system. > > >> There are still problems with MSI interrupts with the 101 >> version, esp. with GeForce 6150 GPUs. Is this a regression? > Compared to which driver? As mentioned above, the 2008.11.05.10.16 driver is only a test for MSI. It does not touch any of the quiesce/fast reboot or text console operations. _______________________________________________ indiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/indiana-discuss
